Question 1: Per federal regulation 2 CFR Part 25, UEI has replaced DUNS as the official federal entity identifier. Could we fill our UEI in the DUNS field of the ICJIA Federal Addendum?

Answer 1: UEI is sufficient

 

Question 2: Regarding insurance requirements: Is insurance required to be issued by an insurance carrier licensed in Illinois?

Answer 2: Lake County requires vendors to obtain insurance issued by a company or companies qualified to do business in the State of Illinois. 

 

Question 3: For biometric gun safes: Does this bid require the biometric gun safes to be California DOJ certified?

Answer 3: The gun safes do not need to be California DOJ certified, as long as they are not on any national recall lists.
