Addendums

Addendum #1

  1. Q: Will Lake County accept vendor-developed micro-credentials, or do they require alignment with established credentialing bodies (e.g., CompTIA, SHRM, Coursera)?
  • A: The RFP leaves open the opportunity for vendor micro credentialling and industry recognized credentialing
  1. Q: Is there a preferred balance between onsite, hybrid, and asynchronous training modules and are vendors expected to provide a proprietary e-learning platform, or may we utilize third-party platforms (e.g., Thinkific, Teachable) to deliver content?
  • A: The RFP request a hybrid approach to address the various scope of work elements that requires Onsite training/workshops is imperative, along with hybrid and asynchronous options that address the scope of work elements. The vendors should be prepared to provide onsite (Vendor should not expect to provide distance learning as their main option due to their location or proximity), remote, and aspects of asynchronous as well. There is no proprietary requirement as it pertains to e-learning. Third party platforms can be an option if they have third party approvals/licenses (if required by the 3rd party)
  1. Q: For the career pathway requirement, is Lake County primarily seeking educational pathway mapping (curriculum, credentials, progression) or are direct employment placement outcomes expected as part of the contract?
  • A: The RFP is seeking educational pathway mapping as stated- curriculum, credential, and progression. There are no direct employment placement outcomes expected even though they may naturally occur due to the skill upgrade. We may track if job seekers secure employment based off surveys.
