To bid on this project, Contractors shall be required provide a valid IDOT “Certificate of Eligibility” and obtain an approved LCDOT “Authorization to Bid”. The project includes the widening of Washington Street to provide dual left turns on Washington Street and the extension of the right turn lane on IL 21. The work to be
performed under this contract consists of pavement removal, PCC median removal, sidewalk removal, curb and gutter removal, earth excavation, PCC pavement, concrete curb and gutter and median construction, aggregate subgrade improvement 12", sidewalk & ADA ramp improvements, HMA multi-use path
construction, traffic signals and lighting improvements, pavement marking, landscaping and miscellaneous drainage improvements and other related work.
