Please follow the steps below to upload your electronic Bid Submission:

1. Go to: https://www.lakecountypurchasingportal.com
2. Click on the Bid Number: Bid #2023_003_SMC/FEMA
3. Click on register for this bid
4. Enter your username and password
5. Under the Submittals section you will be able to upload your bid submittal
   1. Click on the browse button
   2. Navigate your computer and select the appropriate file
      1. Multiple files can be uploaded, each file can be no more than 20 MB
   3. Click on save submittals
   4. Close the browser

Please allow sufficient time for any technical issues you may have and upload your bid early.  Please email Lake County SMC at stormwater@lakecountyil.gov to receive confirmation that we have successfully received your submissions.

   After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

 

1. We're unable to meet the contract completion date of November 15th, 2023, would the County consider allowing the contractor to work over the Winter and have a revised completion date of May 2024?
   1. Addendum 1 modifies the Progress Schedule to ensure that the work adheres to the Nicor Gas re-connection schedule of October 1, 2023, and the Basis of Bid form has been updated to provide alternative Pay Items should the project require winter installation. 
      Please note that the Nicor re-connection schedule is a critical path item, and the date cannot be changed.
