Description:

Lake County Public Works is seeking a consultant to develop concepts for the replacement of the existing press and polymer systems at the Des Plaines River Water Reclamation Facility. Both systems require complete replacement of mechanical and electrical equipment. Alternatives should be developed to replace or repair the belt filter presses, the polymer feed system and the associated controls. The concepts should be of equal or greater efficiency than the existing sludge dewatering system and compatible with the existing processes and the SCADA network.
